Serial entrepreneur András Györfi recently launched the browser extension Lazy Felix, which received its second round of funding from Hiventures earlier this summer. Magyar Telekom will dismiss 500 of its 7,500 employees, having reached agreement with its unions, the company said on Monday. Most of the workers will leave at the end of the year, reports Napi Gazdaság. The cuts do not include any retirements nor cuts in executive staff.

"Discount hypermarket chain Lidl will start selling mobile-phone subscriptions in the first quarter, news website hwsw.hu reports. Industry sources speaking on condition of anonymity said Lidl will not become a virtual mobile service operator but will act as a sales agent for Magyar Telekom.
